“We were in Westfield for the afternoon and decided to try this steakhouse. The restaurant is very clean and has a warm upscale steakhouse feel to it. The waiter and staff are extremely attentive and are constantly changing silverware and cleaning the table. We ordered the bacon appetizer, 2 salads and 2 of the marinated skirt steaks. Everything was delicious. The skirt steak did not disappoint. It was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We had enough food for a family of 4 with some leftovers still.”

The cozy atmosphere in the dining rooms provide a relaxed setting not found in most restaurants today. For starters Sweet Waters entices you with a wide variety of appetizers along with the unique opportunity to create your own shell fish tasting (Raw Bar). It’s amazing – you put the pieces together selecting from a wide variety of fresh oysters, (including Kumamoto, the aristocrats of oysters) Little Neck Clams and Colossal Shrimp. The value proposition here is unique; pricing is by the ‘piece’ so you control the portion size and the price. A rare opportunity in any restaurant. Naturally Sweet Waters features an extensive choice of Steaks and Chops. The quality is superb with my favorite being a 21 Day Dry Aged Sirloin. All steaks and chop dishes include a choice of several potatoes or hand cut fry options. In addition to the traditional side dishes “Bette’s secret recipe Baked Macaroni & Cheese is a must try!
Desserts at Sweet Waters are as sweet as the restaurant name implies. On my last visit I enjoyed Bette’s Rice Pudding – it was sensational! The menu also features a large selection of traditional favorites including Chocolate Soufflé (targeted for my next visit) or Chocolate Fudge Tower. As Rachel Ray would say Yummm! Bottom line for a wonderful “adult” dining experience featuring great service and superb food visit Sweet Waters Steak House – you’ll be glad you did!”

“May not be the most flashy or trendy location however, the food and service are exceptional. The starters are excellent, try the Caesar salad or crab cakes. The porterhouse is cooked to perfection, the meat has great texture, exudes great flavor, a treat to the last bite. I would recommend not using the dipping sauce it kills the flavor, do order the whipped sweet potatoes and the sauteed mushrooms . The wait staff is attentive, courteous and avoid smothering the guests. If you want an authentic steak experience without the the flash, try this place out, you won’t regret it.”

“Sweet Waters is the Best….We had my Mom’s 80th birthday party here. There were 27 of us, and everyone was very satisfied. We started off with appetizers of Shrimp Cocktail or Fried calamari. The shrimp were huge and moist, cook just right. The Fried Calamari was the freshest I’ve ever had. The Caesar salad was next, and it was excellent. And for the entrees, Rib Eye steak or Chilean Sea Bass. The steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. The Chilean Sea Bass very fresh and topped with a vanilla cream sauce, it was magnificent. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Do you know how hard it is to satisfy 27 people, and this place did it with ease. I highly recommend this place.”
“Love this restaurant! I had the porterhouse for two and was not disappointed. Flintstone sized and we still took home leftovers. Each of the Sides are better than the next. Try the Mac and cheese or slab bacon. I’ve been to Luger’s and Sparks. Don’t tell me about prices. Sweet Waters is fairly priced and the staff aims to please. Ask for the table next to the fireplace for cozy atmosphere for two.”

“…To begin, the staff was very courteous, allowing us to enjoy our pre-dinner drinks without pressuring us to order and move on. We shared the slab bacon app, which was on-point delicious. Probably the best thick-cut steakhouse bacon I’ve had. I didn’t really care for the waitering of our dinner rolls, though. Would have been nice just to have a basket with the fresh bread (which was very tasty, btw). I got the aged sirloin topped with mushrooms and onions. It was served at a perfect med-rare, while the veggies + baked sweet potato were also cooked perfectly. I haven’t had a sirloin like this in a while. It was savory….almost buttery. Perfectly trimmed, with not too much gristle. My friends all enjoyed their dishes (the cowboy cut looked to be the big hit). The night conclude with some coffee and conversation. Again, we were not pressured to head out once we were finished…”
